Common questions and answers

• Is it really free to join? | Yes, 100%. We will never ask for any form of payment. 
• Do I have to live in Spain? | No, only the ticket holder needs to be resident in Spain.
• Is there a catch? | None that we can think of.
• If the ticket wins, will I receive my share of the winnings? | Yes, if it has, and you respond to our email and have completed the claim form in time.
• Are the ticket numbers genuine? | Yes, you can request a copy of the ticket we hold for each lottery draw. 
• Why only one ticket for three draws? | The start date and end date of the ticket cover the three weekly draws.
• How will I be paid? | We will pay by bank transfer to any Euro account with an IBAN in your name. If the Euro account is with Wise Bank, you can then carry out any currency conversions.
• Will I have to pay tax? | Depends on your country’s rules. Tax is deducted in Spain, and we will show the proof of the total tax paid.
• Why only one set of numbers for the whole week? | We run AI on a Sunday based on results up to that date. It gives one set of numbers. 
• Is the membership really a syndicate? | No, you do not pay into a syndicate or share winnings that are not the jackpot.
• Can I cancel my membership? | Of course, just click unsubscribe in any email.
• What details do you keep? | Only your name and email address when you join.
• Do you store details on PCs, laptops or tablets? | No, once you join, the online database is used to work out if you win or not.
• Can I have more than one membership? | No, if we suspect that is happening, we will issue a warning.
• How are sponsors chosen? | We invite sponsors based on what they can offer members that is Spain-related. 
• If I am a winner, can I be paid in USD $ or does it have to be €? | You have to have a Euro account with IBAN in your name.. 
• What is a payment request? | Once we have a claim form from you, we will tell you how much you need to request from us in writing, which we will base on the lottery jackpot amount divided by the qualifying members.
• What happens if I did not get your email because it went in my spam folder | If you are a winner, we send one every 5 days until the 30-day claim time has expired. We have no other way of contacting you, so we recommend you add support@jackpotmembership.com as a contact and check the spam folder at least once a week.
• What happens if I submit a claim after 30 days of a winning ticket? | It will be rejected.
• Why should you pay winning members once you have the winnings? | By paying members a lot of money, we will become hot news. Membership will skyrocket; we will have proven that using AI to select the numbers works. The system would then become valuable. 
• What happens to the money that is not claimed in time? | It goes into a pot for a period of five years. | During that time, we take the interest it earns as a bonus. After 5 years, it will be given to a good cause in Spain as a tax-free gift.
• Is what you are doing legal? | As far as we are concerned, it has to be. The ticket holder is registered in Spain and is a Spanish taxpayer. There are, as far as we are aware, no laws against “gifting” a share of the winnings after the tax has been paid. Members do not pay to be members, and we offer no incentives to join. Sponsors pay for the ticket, and we share the ticket if it wins. We “gift” the share.
• How will Members 2, when launched, be different from current members? | Once we reach 5000 active* members, the signup form will be for Members 2, and we will show a second set of AI numbers on the site each week with a ticket purchased to match. We will inform all current members that their subscription will be transferred to Members 1 and that the ticket will be allocated to their membership.
• If I am registered as members 1 and members 2, ticket wins can I claim a share? | No, when we get to the stage of two (or more) tickets purchased each week, each ticket will have a separate qualifying membership. The same goes the other way around.
• Does using AI to choose the numbers guarantee a win? | The AI system is designed to give us a fighting chance. The word is chance. If we ever reach the stage where we can guarantee a winning ticket, you know we are using a crystal ball, not AI.
